Junk Journal Pockets and Cards

For this project, I used coin envelopes and gift cards. Coin envelopes are available at stationery store and dollar stores.
The cards I used are from a collection from my company archives. You can find two of them in the Library and they are free to download and print. You will need to get the password, which you can easily do by clicking here and joining Summer Bay Studio. (No obligation.)
I started by decorating the envelopes on both sides.

I started by decorating the envelopes on both sides.
I used some paper from one of the book pages in this altered book journal, plus the little house (available in my shop).
I used the front of the gift cards, but you can use any card or even plain card stock. Simply cut it to fit the envelope.
I cut the front off the card then I decorated both sides of the front piece.
For the second envelope, I chose a different colour scheme, to coordinate with the gift card I chose.
For the third card and envelope, I also went with colours that worked well together. I love working with colour and seeing how to make things as pretty as possible.
I am delighted with how these cards and envelopes have all turned out. I hope you'll give this project at try too.
